Gifu City in collaboration with the Juroku Financial Group held their first reverse pitch event, in which the city presented four issues it was facing and invited companies to submit proposals for solving them.
City officials presented a range of issues, including DX and disaster prevention, to 18 companies—five of which were tenants of Nagoya’s new startup campus Station Ai. The aim of the exchange meeting was to introduce private-sector technology and problem-solving to the public sphere, and the proposals are expected to be reflected in policies and budgets from FY2026 onwards.
