AgeTechX, organised by Scrum Studio and Hakuhodo, has announced the 11 start-ups participating in its global business co-creation program. This includes three overseas start-ups. In addition, Okinawa Prefecture and the Okinawa BioCommunity have newly joined the program to promote co-creation with start-ups working on solutions to aging-related issues.
AgeTechX aims to use technology to solve the challenges of aging under the theme of 'health, longevity and the 100-year age of life.’ Since the program's launch in November last year, it has promoted collaboration with AgeTech start-ups from around the world. The selected start-ups aim to provide services to older people and promote youthful ageing.
Together with partner companies and observer municipalities, discussions will be held with the 11 selected companies and a presentation of the results will be held at the end of October.
