SkyDrive, a eVTOL company based in Toyota City, has announced that it has received a purchase order for 50 units from JetSetGo, an Indian private jet operator. It has also signed contracts with companies in the US and South Korea, bringing the total number of orders to 323 units.

SkyDrive is developing a three-seater electric multi-rotor aircraft that is only 11.5 meters long. With a maximum speed of 100 km/h and a cruising range of 15 to 40 km, it is designed to be used in environments where helicopters are too big, dangerous, or noisy for everyday use.

It is scheduled to make a demonstration flight at the 25th International Expo in Osaka in April 2025.
