About IVS KYOTO

IVS is a large-scale event that began in 2007, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and other startup professionals.
The highlight of the event is the IVS LAUNCHPAD, a startup pitch contest to be held on July 5, the second day of the event.

Past LAUNCHPAD winners include COVER, a VTuber agency, and freee, a cloud accounting software company, both of which have gone on to successful public offerings.

This year sessions will cover a wide range of startup-related topics, including IPOs, fundraising, and the labor environment for startups. Session content, speakers, and time schedule can be found here.This year’s theme is "Cross the Boundaries," with the aim is to create a place where people can question the meaning of crossing boundaries such as nationality, religion, gender, profession, technology, company affiliation, and way of thinking.
