This year’s EDCON, the Ethereum development conference, will be held in Tokyo from July 24 to 30 at the United Nations University in Shibuya and the Yoyogi National Stadium.
EDCON 2024 celebrates the 10th anniversary of Ethereum, and will be "a special week of technology and spectacle," offering an unparalleled blockchain and cultural experience with world-renowned crypto personalities such as Vitalik Buterin and Keisuke Honda.
In July, Japan Blockchain Week 2024 will start during IVS CRYPTO 2024, starting on the 4th in Kyoto, and blockchain-related events and meetups will be held throughout Japan.

- Celebrating Ethereum's 10th Anniversary with Vitalik Buterin and Joseph Rubin: This year's EDCON marks the 10th anniversary of Ethereum, hosting a reunion for Ethereum co-founders Vitalik Buterin and Joseph Rubin.
- Cultural Showcase with Keisuke Honda: This year's conference in Tokyo will feature personalities such as Keisuke Honda, TripleS, and RAC host a crypto culture event in partnership with Shibuya Ward.
