#Accelerator, #co-working, #Startup Support

Terrada Warehouse has announced the launch of a new start-up hub called Isle of Creation TENNOZ. This initiative takes advantage of the current high office vacancy rate on Tennozu Isle with plans to utilize unused office space in the area to set up shared offices and co-working spaces. The area's proximity to Shinagawa Shinkansen station and Haneda Airport provides additional benefit.

The first phase of the project will be an incubation facility called Creation Camp TENNOZ. This is an incubator inside a renovated warehouse, and will accept 10 early-stage start-ups. The selected companies will receive free office use for two years, as well as an investment of up to 10 million yen from Terrada Warehouse. Advice and educational programs from investors and company mentors will also be provided.

The project is supported by several major companies, including Japan Airlines, Satsudra Holdings ,and Kokuyo — Kokuyo in particular is participating as a partner by providing equipment and layout for the incubation office. Terrada Warehouse aims to realise new business models and establish itself as a centre of business innovation for the entire region.
