Yokohama City will host its international conference, Y-SHIP, on the 14th and 15th at Pacifico Yokohama North. Y-SHIP will discuss decarbonization in Asian cities led by the World Bank, and create opportunities for collaboration between overseas startups and local companies in green transformation (GX), new energy, and next-generation mobility. It aims to promote Yokohama as a global business hub in an effort to attract international startups.

The conference will also include the 12th Asia Smart City Conference, with about 40 Asian cities participating, aiming to showcase Japanese advanced technologies in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and IT-based water and sewage management.
