Spanish soccer club Real Madrid and Japanese startup support company Creww are launching a new incubator called Real Madrid Next Accelerator for Asia. It will develop Asian startups in six areas, especially sport and health tech, with the best companies being considered for further investment at the end of the program.

Next Accelerator will begin in February, with advance registration accepted from February 15. About 10 startups will be selected to participate in the program, which will receive be conducted online and in English.

This is the first time Real Madrid has implemented their program for Asian companies, and it is expected to be a stepping stone for Japanese and Asian startups to expand their business to sports teams around the world.
