PRONTO, a pasta café company, announced today that it will exhibit a new restaurant featuring P-Robo, a fully automatic pasta machine developed in collaboration with food tech startup TechMagic.

P-Robo is a fully automatic pasta cooking machine equipped with a robotic arm that can cook a meal in 45 seconds.

This new level of automation will reduce the number of personnel needed to operate the restaurant. The quality of the food will also be more consistent, providing a better experience for customers.

The cost of operating P-Robo is approximately 800 yen per hour, which is lower than the national minimum wage of 961 yen per hour and significantly less than the average metropolitan restaurant wage, which is usually 1,000-1,200 yen. With this in mind, P-Robo is being offered as a solution to the labor shortage in the restaurant industry.
