Logomix, a genome editing startup from Tokyo Tech University, has raised 500 million yen in a seed round.
Logomix is a startup that develops proprietary genome editing technologies to modify the cells and cellular systems of various species, including bacteria, yeast, cultured animal cells, and human stem cells.
The round was led by Japanese VC firms JAFCO, the University of Tokyo IPC, and Silicon Valley's Sand Hill Angels.
