“WE AT” aim to accumulate economic capital, natural capital, human capital, and social capital, which form the basis of a well-being economy, keeping in mind the categories of the “well-being framework” proposed by the OECD. We will support startup businesses and projects of companies and research institutions that contribute to accumulation.
As part of this effort, we have decided to hold the first “WE AT CHALLENGE”. The final pitch event will be held in TIB in TOKYO on November 27, 2024.
WE AT CHALLENGE 2024 is a pitch contest that aims to be one of the largest Well-Being festivals in Asia, in collaboration with the TEMASEK Foundation and VERTEX Group in Singapore. The inaugural event will feature three tracks contributing to the realization of multifaceted well-being: “Global Liveability,” “Healthy Life,” and “Living & City. Entries were solicited from a wide range of people in diverse positions, including startups, students, and working entrepreneurs from Japan and abroad, and we received entries from a diverse range of teams from Japan and 32 other countries.
